The plain-language ground rules for using our website and working with us — written to be read, not skimmed past.
Last updated: June 1, 2026 · Applies to all visitors, clients and users of dochia.dev
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Dochia Software website and services. By visiting our site, submitting a form, or engaging us for a project, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use our website or services.
By accessing dochia.dev or engaging Dochia Software for any service, you confirm that you're authorised to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or the organisation you represent, and that you accept these Terms in full.
Dochia Software provides software development, AI integration, IT consulting and related services. Specific deliverables, timelines, fees and responsibilities for any engagement are defined in a separate written proposal or contract ("Statement of Work"), which takes precedence over these Terms in the event of a conflict regarding that engagement.
When using our website or services, you agree not to:
Unless otherwise agreed in a Statement of Work, all content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and code — is the property of Dochia Software and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
For client projects: ownership of deliverables transfers to the client upon full payment, as detailed in the relevant contract, except for any pre-existing tools, frameworks or components that remain Dochia Software's property and are licensed for the client's ongoing use.
Project fees, payment schedules and milestones are defined individually in each Statement of Work or proposal. Generally:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dochia Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services, including loss of profits, data or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim arising from a project shall not exceed the fees paid for that specific engagement in the preceding three months.
Either party may terminate an active engagement in accordance with the notice terms set out in the relevant Statement of Work. Upon termination, the client is responsible for payment of all work completed up to the termination date, and Dochia Software will provide reasonable assistance in transitioning ongoing work.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dochia Software is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation before any formal proceedings.
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. We'll update the "last updated" date above whenever we make changes, and significant updates will be communicated to active clients directly.
Questions about these Terms? We're glad to clarify anything before you commit to working with us.
Every engagement starts with a clear, written proposal — no surprises, no fine print games.
